Arklēon respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and create a user profile. We store your plan type (Free or Pro) and subscription status.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or full payment credentials on our servers. We store a Stripe customer ID and subscription ID to manage your billing relationship.

Usage Data: We collect data about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, search queries submitted to our AI analyst, and timestamps of activity. This data helps us improve the Service.

Preferences: We store your theme preferences, notification settings, and watchlist data locally in your browser (localStorage) and/or in our database.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide the Service, process payments, send account communications, improve the Service, enforce Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting, Stripe for payment processing, Perplexity AI for AI-powered market analysis, and Finnhub for real-time stock price data. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data while your account is active. On deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Usage logs and anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures including HTTPS, secure Supabase Auth, and role-based database access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

We use browser localStorage for theme preferences, notification settings, and feature usage counts. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Supabase Auth may use cookies or localStorage for session management.

9. Children Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes via email.
